Lol this poem by some Spanish dude named Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer..
Rima XXI
¿Qué es poesía?, dices mientras clavas
en mi pupila tu pupila azul.
¿Qué es poesía? ¿Y tú me lo preguntas?
Poesía... eres tú.
Translation:
What is poetry? you ask while you stare
Into my eye with your blue eye.
What is poetry? And you ask me that?
Poetry...is you.
Rima XXIII
Por una mirada, un mundo;
por una sonrisa, un cielo;
por un beso... yo no sé
qué te diera por un beso.
Translation:
For one look, a world;
For one smile, a sky;
For one kiss...I do not know
What I gave you for one kiss.
Really really cheesy, right?
They were posters that were above the smartboard/whiteboard in Spanish class..
Noticed it before, but didn't bother to put it in a blog post til now lol.
