Yeah, I somehow had this song stuck in my head this morning. Very weird.
Anyways...today in Chemistry, we got our quizzes back and went over it a bit. I only got a 92. Such a crappy grade, since I could've done a lot better, except I wasn't using my brain and I didn't study. Stupid, stupid me. We also got some of our homework/worksheets that were graded handed back. Didn't do too well on them, always had at least one point taken off. Frick.
But my teacher apparently has a virus on her flashdrive, so we couldn't take notes. She wrote up new note sheets, but she didn't have time to make a new powerpoint, so she called in a "tech guy" to help. But the "tech guy" said he/she would be here around 9-ish (which would be about a 30-minute wait). So we got to watch a kid-friendly movie that she had in her car. The choices were: Finding Nemo, Shrek (the first one), and Madagascar. And also Happy Feet, but my Chem teacher said it was epic fail, to which Nancy and I agreed, so the choice was eliminated. I've seen Finding Nemo waaay too many times. Shrek, I've seen that a lot too (but the first time I ever watched it, it was in Spanish, to which you could say I was really confused when watching). And I've seen Madagascar once. It ended up being 1, 3, and 14, in the order Ihad listed the movies in. I didnt vote, though, and it seems a lot of other people didn't vote either. Madagascar was actually really funny. The penguins were funny. They apparently really like slapping. Lol. And the king of the lemurs, Julian XIII, I think it was, was really creepy/funny/weird...We actually finished the movie, with two minutes left until the bell rang. And the tech guy never came...
Third hour, continued reading A Midsummer Night's Dream. The guy playing Demetrius also played the very minor role of a fairy, and he wore a gree tutu with flowers on it, along with matching wings and a flower in his hair (which is really short). My teacher told someone to take pictures. They might be submitting the pictures to the yearbook club to put on the yearbook lol. The plot in the story thickens quite substantially. Puck, a fairy, is commanded by Oberon, king of the fairies, to put a flower called love-in-idleness, which causes the person who has had the dew of the flower put into his/her eyes will fall in love with the first thing he/she sees, into Demetrius's eyes so that he would love Helena. But Puck, who's never seen Demetrius and whose orders were to use it on an Athenian man (who could be distinguished by the toga they would be wearing, but is not a good discription because many people would be wearing them), mistakens Lysander for Demetrius and puts the love-in-idleness in Lysander's eyes. However, Lysander is waken by, you guessed it, Helena. So now Lysander is madly in love with Helena......and that's where we stopped..
I ate a lot for lunch today. Well, more than I usually eat, which is not very much. I think it might have helped me concentrate better. More energy.
Didn't really do anything special in orchestra...
In AP Euro, we got a lot of stuff/papers. Two really big packets of review for the ap exam. And we still have reading due tomorrow. And a quiz. I really really need to study for this exam...ugh. Stupid.
In Spanish, basically the same dose of boring and blah-ness I get every day from that class. And my daily pWnage of everyone in my class with my mad, beastly skills. jk. But I did get first place by like 60 points with a quiz-like/review thing using the clickers. But we finally finished the imperfect/preterite stuff today. Lol, the packet she gave us about Imperfect/Preterite tenses spelled "preterite" spelled as "preterit" seven times. Sadly enough, the word "preterite" was only in the packet eight times. Meaning it spelled "preterite" right only once. I think we're having the chapter quiz/test on Thursday. This should be a piece of cake. I'm not going to waste my time studying for it.
Pre-Calc, more review. Still have a little bit left of the review packet left to do. I'm thinking about finishing that in Spanish tomorrow. Oh, and the test over this stuff is tomorrow. I have a feeling I'm going to fail.
I should get going on my homework now...
I might go on aim after dinner or after I'm done with everything. So, maybe talk to you all later then.
P.S. I really enjoy the chat rooms we have. It's really random at times, and last time we spoke spanish for like five minutes, and then attempted to speak in japanese. Lol. It always ends up with saying lyrics from songs, and Judy and Lily getting confused. Lol. Sorry Judy! Sorry Lily! I hope that didn't offend you guys! And AIM really needs to create a game of Big Two so that we can all play it together. Like one, big, happy family. Awwww. OK. Creepy. I know. Getting kinda weird there...Lol.
I'm out.
Lol at the part where LeBron James starts dancing and then Shaq joins him. Haha, LeBron James gets a little scared and runs away....I'd run away too if I were him -_- and Dwight Howard's isn't as good as the other two lol :P
"Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. See, I have made him a witness to peoples, a leader and commander of the peoples. Surely you will summon nations you know not, and nations that do not know you will hasten to you, because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has endowed you with splendor." - Isaiah 54:1-5
