Happy Easter, everyone!
I'm going to force myself to do this partly because I haven't written/posted anything for a few days, and partly because I'm procrastinating right now. How very smart of me.
Friday's service was interesting. In a good way. The song "Via Dolorosa" was nice. I liked the lyrics, although some of it was in Spanish. My parents had thought that the Spanish part was in Hebrew. Lol. The message was also nice, although the translations part made a little on the long side. And made it a little bit harder to concentrate...It makes one realize all over again the extent of God's love for us. To have loved us and to have forgiven us after all the times we shut him out of our lives, after alll the times we mocked His name. To have sent His one and only son to die for our sins. To take our place on that old rugged cross. And that we truly cannot comprehend the full extent of His love. Because His love for us is endless.
After the service, Allen and I played a game of Speed. Then we helped Lily search for her Bible, but to avail. We decided to try again Sunday, after the stage got cleared off. Then we had some cake. It was really good. Dang. I'm getting hungry again. :P Teenagers really do eat a lot. Lol.
After a while, we waited for my mom to finish talking to this other lady. Even my dad was waiting. But then, he turned to the dark side and started talking to the other adults. Asian parents. Sigh. Seem to never run out of things to say even with words waterfalling out their mouths. Even the pastors left before us!
Oh, and my parents were talking to Judy and Lily's aunt about me staying at their house for a month. I don't know if they were just joking or actually serious, because I could never really tell with my parents. -_- It would be pretty cool if I could. But then I'd probably get homesick after a week or two. :|
I didn't really do much on Saturday. But my parents went to Amy's house (the little one).
Today, we went to church. Allen and I decided to sit on the second floor for the service. It was really nice. The drama was pretty good, and the theme was interesting. HEROse. He Rose. Heroes. Lol. After the service, we ate lunch outside. It wasn't very good...But I gave the stuff that I didn't finish to my dad. Lol...After, I tracked down Josh (well, actually I just saw him on the way to giving my dad my plate of unfinished food), and he sang the "I love you" song from Barney to Eric. Lol. It was rather interesting. After that, we played big two. After a little more than two games, we went to help clean up the stage.
After that, we just waited. And waited. And waited.
And waited.
We waited a lot.
Then Christine and I started playing Speed. We played either two or three rounds. After that, we played MASHO. LOL. We were that bored. So bored we resorted to playing that. Christine went first. She chose four things in the categories of hubby, color of tuxedo (for the wedding), color of wedding dress, honeymoon, place to live, number of children, and type of car. She ended up having three children with Josh, who wore a gray tux for the wedding while she wore a light pink wedding dress, having their honeymoon in Germany, driving a Lexus, and living in an outhouse in St. Louis. What a wonderful life. Lol. But trust me, the choices for the number of children were only 0, 1, 2, and 3. She just got "unlucky," I guess. Lol.
And I'm sure you all are wonderingon what I got for mine. But unfortunately for you, and fortunately for me, we had to leave. Really. I'm not even lying.
After church, we went to Walmart and bought food. LOTS of food. Lol. Mmmmm....fooooddd.....Yum yum.
We ate dinner really early today...Like at 5:40 or something. Lol.
We watched the majority of the Cavs vs. Celtics game. Boston played in Cleveland. Boston got whipped. Boston got owned. But seriously, LeBron James should be the MVP this year. The King just dominates the court. Lol, a poster that one of the fans were holding up read "Today, the Easter Bunny Becomes a Witness." Yeah, I don't get it.
After the game, I watched Happy Gilmore, since it was playing on TBS. Weird movie.
Well, I still got some review packet left to do for AP Euro. @#$%.
I hope this week will be even better than last week.

More seriously....And by the way, some parts of this video is very graphic. Even I had to turn away at some parts... Just a warning....
"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense - Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours, but also for the sins of the whole world." - 1 John 2:1-2
"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all." - Isaiah 53:5-6
