The ceiling...

Looking up and waiting

The cracks there...they existed before I looked up to acknowledge these blemishes

And now, I stand unmoving, head tilted upwards and observing these crevices deepen, spread, like an infection.

Like veins, or streams and tributaries of a river.

They don't let in light, just darkness

A darkness dense as fog

Yet still...the feeling of wanting to move, the feeling of being trapped underneath this ceiling...

Just waiting until everything caves in, when everything falls to pieces around me, on me.

Crushing.

Defeated.

And waiting for the dust to settle, for everything to die into silence...

Three and a half day weekend.

Flame on Friday was interesting, I guess.

I just put down random ones for the game...

Talked about pride/humility from 1 Corinthians 1:1-forgot which verse -____-

On Saturday, woke up kind of late. I think around 10:00-10:45..

Went to the library to study and do homework. That was probably the most productful thing I did that day.

We had a party/gathering at our house in the evening, so I just stayed in my room the entire time, being wholly unproductive.

Discussed plans about sleepover and movies. Discussed which movies we'd watch.

We decided on watching One Missed Call, Stranger Than Fiction, and The Hangover.

Sunday, we arrived to church a little late.

Talked about Genesis 4...

I felt like falling asleep, but I didn't.

For some reason, I never actually fall asleep in church or school...just kind of hover between reality and the shores of sleep.

We were going to try to do pictures, but that failed.

It shouldn't have though, since I told eveyone about doing it the evening before, so everyone knew about it.

I forgot why we didn't do it...

Oh, I think it was because Phillip went to BubbleTea with some people (forgot which people), so we wouldn't have everyone included if we did do pictures.

I was kind of thinking that we should do them anyways, and just take more pictures next week, so that the picture thing wouldn't be as much as a fail.....

Oh well.

Lily and I were sniping Josh with our cameras. And I also took some pictures of Shawn in that interesting pose lol. The sniping wouldn't have been as fun if Josh didn't try to run away, but since he tried to run away, we kept on doing it. Haha. Sorry Josh.

Not trying to be sexist, but Allen's like a girl...He talks way too much. Talks way too much about other people. Talks way too much on things that don't matter and don't pertain to him at all. Bleh.

After Judy, Lily, and Josh left, I just hung out in the sanctuary with Shawn, Andrew, and Allen. And Daniel. Lol. Phillip joined later on.

Daniel's an interesting kid. Him, Shawn, and Andrew were playing tag at one point.

Lol Daniel smashed and broke a jollyrancher (jolly rancher? jolly-rancher?) on Allen's forehead. It was pretty random...

Allen and Shawn were talking about Avatar and how the Navi people would attach their hair to animals and "bond" with them and how they'd try doing that if they had longer hair...

We left after a while, bringing Shawn with us.

We saw John Tucker Must Die on the FX channel lol.

Allen and Shawn left for the JCC att 3:30.

I left at 4:00 and walked there.

I think we played knock out first, but I don't really remember.

I think I won the first round, surprisingly.

Didn't win any other rounds though.

Then we played a game.

I think it was Eric and me against Phillip, Shawn, and Allen.

I think the game was tied, when Eric lost his temper.

And I think that was when Josh came...

After a little while, while we played kind-of king of the court, with Josh owning everyone, Phillip and Eric decided to stay, and we started another game.

The team was me, Shawn, and Josh against Eric, Phillip, and Allen, if I remember correctly...Not sure if that's right..Eric and Josh might have been switched...Argh, I really can't remember..

Anyways, Shawn, Josh (or whoever was on my team), and I won. Lol I made this one ridiculous shot where Allen tried to block the ball, and actually hit the ball with his palm, but it still went in...

Afterwards, there was some confusoin about going over to Judy and Lily's for supper.

Their aunt ended up giving me an Josh a ride to their house.

It was kind of weird, since we were there, but Judy and Lily was still upstairs, and we were just waiting for them to come downstairs (because that's what their aunt told us to do), so it was pretty quiet...Lol Josh and I semi-betted (without stakes lol) who would come downstairs first. Josh guessed Lily, and I guessed Judy.

Their aunt told me to call one of them on the cellphone, but Judy called mine first, I think. Hm, maybe not. I don't really remember.

Anyways, they came downstairs (I think Judy came downstairs first lol) and we got situated, and prayed. Apparently on Sundays they recite the Lord's Prayer. Josh and I didn't say anything, since they were saying it in Chinese. I mean, I actually know/recognize it in Chinese, just haven't memorized it in Chinese.

Later on, Phillip and Eric came over.

We were all being so polite and all lol.

This was the longest dinner I've had in a long time lol.

The food was really good though. n__n

Afterwards, we played "Never Have I Ever."

Lily won..

Afterwards, Judy and Phillip disappeared into her room, while everyone else stayed downstairs (sounds kinda sketchy O_o jk).

We decided on playing Big Two. Well, I made the decision. Some people wanted to play strip poker -___-

Lol we should play strip big two some time! :D

JK. Unless you all really want to haha..

After a while, Phillip and Eric went home, while the rest of us went over to my house.

We watched One Missed Call 1 on the Wii at first, and it wasn't that bad, although it was a little confusing since I was using my laptop at the same time so I was half paying attention. I must've missed some parts, since it's in Japanese, so we'd have to read the subtitles to understand what they're saying.

Talked to Phillip over AIM, and Josh who was sitting across the room.

After a while, Phillip logged off, and I stopped using AIM and started paying full attention to the movie. It stopped working, well it lagged and took forever to load part 5, so we switched to using the projector with my laptop.

Took a while to get it to work, which included restarting my computer, but it worked.

Then I went upstairs to find my speakers, while Josh offered to help, but just stood at the doorway looking as I hopelessly searched through the recesses of my room for the speakers. I ended up finding it in the closet beside my room.

We resumed the watching of the movie, and the quality was pretty good.

After finishing it, we looked up an explanation to the end of the movie, but the explanation still left us with unanswered questions. Especially as the person who provided his insight on the movie hadn't seen One Missed Call 2 or 3.

Then we tried to come up with a comedy movie so that we'd be able to sleep better, however we didn't come up with anything really appropriate. Appropriate used in two meanings...

Then we ended up watching One Missed Call 2.

Allen went upstairs to go to sleep, and my dad came home.

A few moments into the movie, we arranged the couch so that it faced the white board the projector projected on, and arranged the speakers so that there was one near both sides of the couch.

We moved the coffee table to the side as well.

This way, everyone had a better view of the screen, and we ould all fit comfortably on one couch. Which is beneficial when watching a horror film. Especially since the second one was the scariest/creepiest of the three.

At first, it went from left to right (if you were standing in front of us): Josh, Judy, Lily, then me. But Lily and I wanted to be in the middle, since I guess we were all pretty freaked out at the time. So about halfway, Judy and I switched spots. We had a sleeping bag as the cover, and I think everyone had a pillow in his/her arms to hug. It was pretty funny, since we kind of watched peering right above the edge of the sleepingbag/blanket. So the pillows added on to body heat and the very warm sleeping bag made it very warm lol.

I think Lily and Josh fell asleep at some point, not sure.

Then we watched an episode of Hi My Sweetheart. But it was rather uninteresting, and we went all went to sleep at different intervals during or after it.

Woke up at 9:11 of my own accord. I was like, shoot. We're late for the JCC.

But we changed it to 10:30 after talking on the phone with Phillip.

Cereal for breakfast lol.

We walked to the C, and got there late..

At first, the teams were me, Phillip, Josh, and Lily against Allen, Adante, Eric, and Judy.

My team lost...And I played horribly..

Lol it took too long for someone to make a free throw to determine who starts with the ball, so my team just started with it. We got kicked to another gym after a while.

After the first game, we played again, except we traded Phillip for Adante. We won, after a few rounds of deuce. We could've won earlier, I think, but I kept on missing shots...

After that game, I scared Judy with the ringtone lol..

Then Adante had to leave. Allen left as well.

Then we all went swimming, except for Josh, who just watched or played around with my phone.

After Phillip and Eric left, we stayed for a while longer, then left when the swimming class for little kids started.

We went into the sauna first, for a while. Planned on using the steam room afterwards, but it smelled funny in there, so we didn't.

Took showers, got dressed. I went upstairs first, since I decided not to dry my hair there (Judy and Lily were using them anyways). Saw Josh sitting at the loungish area with the free coffee. Got a cup of coffee and sat down across from Josh, who said that my dad was ordering pizza. Judy and Lily came upstairs a while afterwards, and got cups of coffee as well. Then we left and walked back to my house.

At my house, my mom thought that we didn't have enough time for pizza, since she got the time wrong, for some reason. But the food was pretty good anyways, I guess.

We watched One Missed Call Final.

Switched to Lily's computer after liket the second part, since my computer was being slow.

This one was definitely the least scariest. Maybe it was because it was daytime, but in any case, it wasn't as scary as the other ones.

After the movie finished, everyone except for me fell asleep. At 4:38-ish Josh's dad came to pick Josh up.

I think Lily woke up a little while after he left or something, and we played/looked for games online...

After a while later, Judy and Lily got their stuff and left.

The sleepover was fun, and I enjoyed watching the movies :)

It was cool, bonding with each other in fear. JK. But not really? Lol. In any case, it was fun.

We should do this again sometime.

Today/Yesterday I felt soooo tired.

Left my homework in my Physics book AGAIN.

Seriously, I've got to stop doing that.

My mind kept on drifting and I couldn't remember the answers I put for the assignment, since I was doing it over again in class. Bleh. Managed to get it done by the end of the hour, though.

Spanish was pretty boring, and I was still pretty tired. I can't remember what exactly we did in class. I think we went over homework or something. Oh, and uses for ser, estar, and haber.

Lunch, I think I sat with different set of people. Worked on Spanish, pretty much, and ate.

Orchestra was the same as any day. Apparently we'll be choosing the t-shirt color...

Fifth hour was the junior assembly that was totally pointless and not very informational (in terms of new information). Just read for gov during the entire thing. Missed Java...blah...

In calc, I almost fell asleep, though I was awake enough to actually take notes, and I kind of snapped out of it towards the end. So exhausted...

In gov, we worked on this packet, and we had a torndao drill.

After school, we went to the Renaissance meeting, and signed up for stuff. Phillip came in, and now we've created a group that wants purple t-shirts as opposed to the royal blue that others called for.

All in all, today was a very tiring day.
