I've been so tired these past few days.
Didn't even go to bed that late...
Oh well...I figure after everything it's been through, my body's probably all messed up by now.
Especially my biological clock...
Church was alright, I guess.
Talked about second half of Genesis chapter 4.
Next week apparently we're combining the guys and girls' Sunday school, since Wayland will be out of town or something.
Those oatmeal cookies were good..
Ended Sunday School early since there was the all-church prayer meeting...
Tried to look for Yvonne to ask about who was going to help out in children's worship.
Ended up finding her in the sanctuary.
The songs were pretty nice.
Helped out with children's worship.
Lol the kiddies are so cute.
After the worship/sermon thingy, the older and younger kids got separated.
I got to help out with the younger group.
Handed out stickers and pre-cut paper crowns and crayons.
Lol Richard was so cute, talking about those frosted vanilla cupcakes he had in that plastic ziplock bag of his, and calling the rainbow star stickers "superstars."
I was going to stick some of those "superstars" onto his forehead or cheek, but he ended up sticking one of them above my eyebrow and another on my cheek.
After children's worship was over and all the kids (well, most of them anyways) went down to children's choir, went into the sanctuary for the last part of service, which was singing and the benediction.
Didn't feel like eating lunch, so I didn't eat.
Stood around, talking (well, I wasn't really participting) with Shawn, Josh, Hongbo, Allen, Winston, and Shaun. Well, the group was kind of split up but anyways...
Lol Judy just vanished or something...probably went home..
Josh asked me if Lily was here, and when I told him that she wasn't here, his face was very downcast.
To my surprise, he said, "Now I don't know what to do, now that Lily isn't here beside me right now. I feel so lonely.." Hence the title of his most recent blog post. (Today's blog post.)
His longing for her presence was evident in his eyes, glazed over as if all the life had been sucked out of him. It was then that I realized that, in a sense, the life had been sucked out of him. Because Lily was his whole life.
Lol jk.
None of that really happened.
Sorry Lily. Hopefully that didn't get your hopes up, then crushed..
But don't worry, these things take time to realize ;)
