Ignore the title...

(23:08:40):     life really blows right about now =[

Wearing on like this...

I'm surprised I got this far.

Nothing to replenish my energy..

Then I'm reminded of walking up that canyon.

All the help of being there, and being a source of energy.

And the rain falling down on us.

Maybe I overanalyze too much, and see connections where they may not necessarily exist. At least, not with much importance anyways..

Bleh...anyways..

Got to school later, but it was excused.

Physics was pretty boring. Took some notes, but not a lot.

Schmidt really likes to talk a lot..

In lit, we got back our journal entries for Tale of Two Cities. Teacher discussed about that a little..

Then we read a poem called "The Centaur," by May Swenson, individually, and answered 6 simple questions about it individually.

Spanish, we just went over homework and stuff.

Speaking activity.

Then Ms. Drabant told a story in Spanish.

When she was 24 years old, she went to this college called the Monterey Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA, that, common with most colleges, cost a lot of money, so she worked a lot in order to pay for it.

One of these jobs was at a very old, at least 100 years old, hotel.

Apparently there was a need for someone to work the night shift, which was from 6pm to 5am, so she decided to take the job.

One night, she locked the front door like she always did, and went into the office like she would normally do.

She was doing something (hacer cuentas? cuentos?) and needed a pen, so she went outside the office, to the counter, to get a pen.

Then, beside the fireplace, on a sofa, she saw a red-haired man just sitting there, quietly.

She was surprised, since she was sure no one was there before she locked the door, and she didn't hear anyone come downstairs (there was only one flight of stairs in the three-story hotel, and it was beside the office, so that in order to get to the fireplace, youd have to walk past the office anyways), since the stairs were really old and would creak loudly if anyone were to go up or down the stairs.

Like the picture? Lol.

Anyways, she was like, oh okay, he seems harmless enough, quiet and not disruptive. So she just went back inside the office.

Then she realized that she forgot the pen, so she went outside the office to get one from the counter. She looked toward the fireplace, and the red-haired man that she saw sitting in front of the fireplace was gone.

She was a little frightened, since there was no way he could've left the building, and she didn't hear any creaking to indicate that he went upstairs, so she went to the kitchen, a heavy book in hand just in case, to search for the guy.

The kitchen was pretty big, but the man was nowhere to be found.

At this point, she was pretty weirded out, so she just went back inside the office, brushing the incident off.

Then phone number 1 rang. So, she got up, went across to the counter and picked up the phone.

After saying "hello?" many times, there was no answer.

So she went back inside the office.

Phone number 1 rang again. She got up, walked over, and picked up the phone.

No one.

She went back, continuing with her work.

The same phone rang again. No one answered.

At this point, she thought that it must some sort of joke, and apparently said some profanity before hanging up.

Then, phone number 2 rang.

She thought it was really strange, but shrugged it off, thinking that she may have remembered wrong and the phone does go two ways.

No one was there.

The phone rang two more times.

Both times, no one answered.

So she just went back to work, probably feeling a little pissed.

Then, phones 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 rang at the same time.

NOW she was really scared, picking up and hanging up each phone and then huddling into a ball on the sofa.

She quit the job the next day.

Yeah, apparently this is a true story.

Pretty strange O_o

Anyways, I didn't eat much for lunch, and went into the band room after I finished eating.

Orchestra was pretty normal.

Nacy kept on talking about tantara lol. And that Greco-Roman wrestling thing.

Interesting comparison...

Java...started chapter 11 about abstract classes. This looks like fun. Not.

Apparently it's where some of the methods are not defined. Surprisingly, I guessed the definition correctly. Well, after she said "some of the methods," and I guessed the ending of that definition correctly.

Reading quiz tomorrow..whoopee.

Calc was review day.

Quiz tomorrow. So screwed.

Gov was pretty much thing except talking about the e-mail she sent us and the vocab quiz.

Test tomorrow.

Studying for comparative gov really sucks.

Makes me about to go into sleep mode at any point in time while reading it.

Since my mom wasn't feeling well, she stayed home, so I was able to get home earlier than I normally would.

Also, my dad took the big car to the shop to get it fixed (yeah, only went to get it fixed now...and that accident was in December, so more than a month ago).

My mom also cut her finger, so she wasn't able to use that hand much.

So I decided to drive home. Partly because of that.

Driving's getting to feel more natural now. Not as tense as before, and more relaxed and comfortable with everything.

Saw Phillip and Eric (well only Eric, but yeah..) at the traffic light leaving school, but they probably didn't notice me, since they were about two or three cars in front.
