Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily...
Life...is but a dream?
Sigh. I haven't posted anything on my blog for quite a while...
Some of you may be wondering what I've been up to.
And to that, my honest and complete answer is basically: nothing.
I started to do some of my summer homework, but I don't get much done...bleh
Besides that, I have to study for SAT and crap...
In the summer,
the days are long,
and the nights are short.
But for me,
the days are long,
but the nights are longer...
I've been having trouble sleeping lately...
Although I was never one to go to bed early,
it taks me quite a while to fall into sleep.
And by "quite a while," I mean "about 2 and a half to 3 hours, and sometimes more."
I think it might be because the pillows I have now are too soft...
So I've been trying to sleep using one of the pillows that are for the couch (no, I don't mean couch cushions),
but that doesn't seem to be working very well, although it's slightly better than the other pillows...
I've tried listening to my iPod, but that doesn't really work, since I don't have a playlist and don't have very many quiet songs lol...
Also, it becomes a bit too loud...even if it' at the lowest volume you can get it to go...
In the lonely silence of the night, even my heartbeat sounds deafening...
Anyways, maybe I really should start using sleeping pills >:[
Today, there is an outreach event held at O'Fallon. It was put together by Shawn's family and my family for Father's Day (after being asked to do so by Pastor Chou).
I was supposed to help in the nursery to take of the little kids (well, babies, I guess, since they'll be 0-2 years old)...Pasor Chou even asked me himself, and Allen probably would've helped there too.
BUT, today is also the Navajo Mission Trip Meeting. I wasn't able to go to the previous one, because of the Orchestra trip to Toronto, and Allen wasn't able to go either since he was sick at the time. So, I thought it wouldn't be very good if we missed both, although the outreach event at O'Fallon is very important as well.
We decided that we would go to the Navajo Mission Trip meeting. For me, I decided this because of not only what was stated earlier, but also since Navajo was something I had already made a commitment to before Pastor Chou asked me to help in the nursery.
But, it seems that Josh and Rebecca are also supposed to help in the nursery, but apparently Rebecca isn't able to go, according to Pastor Chou...
He also says that Minister Choi is trying to ask some people to help out...
I hope they've found enough people to help out.....
And also that the outreach event will be a success!
Now I feel a bit woozy...and rather tiredhlkba...
good *yawn* night evrbuddyy
God blesss you alllllllllll.....
