☼ Find Me, Fix Me

So...today I drove a lot, considering that I've only had an hour and thirty minutes of driving practice beforehand.

At first, my dad didn't intend for me to actually drive on the road.

After warming up a little in the Marquette parking lot (basically just driving around), we decided to drive around in the neighborhood across from the entrance to Marquette.

We were planning to stop and take a rest around 4:00 pm (I think we started around 3:48 or something), but we decided to keep going, upon reaching Baxter at the end of the street (we were driving straight).

So then, we drove home. I drove home.

After a few minutes of rest at home and talking to Josh for a while over AIM, I drove to church.

After we got into the church parking lot, I drove to this one family's house, under the direction of my dad.

I think we sent food to them and I guess a humidifier? At least that was what was on the box...

Yeah, our family (and I guess mostly my parents) are helping this family out, since the father has kidney cancer, I think. So yeah...the family is going through a pretty tough time, and they have two little girls, the oldest at the age of 6 or 7. Please pray for this family, and pray that through this experience, no matter what happens, they'll be brought closer to God, if not completely brought to believe in God and Jesus.

We din't stay for very long, and the grandmother gave me some crackers/cookies from China...In the end, I just took two things, even though she gave me like five, since I didn't want to be rude and not take any, but I didn't want to take too much. I got a Mango Flavor Roll and something that has a smiling corn on the wrapper.

My dad actually planned to drive home, since it was dark out, but then I ended up driving to my mom's workplace to pick her up. Then my dad drove us to the library, intending to drop me off there with my mom's library card (I don't have one, which is the reason why we had to pick up my mom first), but we found out that the library was closed.

So we just drove back home.

Yeah...

I think my dad's going to make me drive him to church on Sunday...

So pray for me, pray for our safety, pray for that family.
