Funny how things happen
Sigh..I haven't blogged in a while.
Not sure if you have heard about what happened Casey Wang, but wow....just goes to show that doing well academically doesn't mean you're smart.
And apparently a similar incident happened with Connie Chen. Heard from Nancy, who heard from her dad, who used to be colleagues with Connie Chen's dad, and maybe from an aquaintance...anyway, I don't know her personally, but she was Nancy's stand partner in youth orchestra.
Things like these only strengthen my resolve to stay away from the party scene that is pretty much a given at any college. There are much better ways that I can use my time, even if it means staying indoors. Which, as a side thought, I really hope I get a good roommate =__=
When I woke up last Saturday (I think), for some reason, all I thought about was the stuff I could do in college. Not like partying stuff, but I'd probably get a lot more flexibility with my schedule, and I'll be able to do more. Like, I was thinking....I might be able to get more sleep if I plan wisely, then maybe I would have free time to do things that I want to do, and experience things that I might have not been able to do before. Not sure what, but I could draw or paint or do some photography for fun, learn a new language, learn how to do something, or just sleep more. Haha.
Of course, right now, I'm thinking that this would just be an ideal situation that may not be real...it could just be wishful thinking lol. My pessimistic side (which dominates most of my thinking) tells me that this would be impossible. Eh..who knows? It's worth a shot. I mean, I can only get so much of doing the same thing every day....surfing the internet, sleeping, doing homework, whatever. Haha wow my life sounds so boring. :P
Oh well, I think living by myself like that would be nice though. It would be great if I wouldn't have to share a room.... :\
Stupidty might be infectious.
Eh I don't really feel like typing anything else right now.
Yesterday was so tiring, but the Harvest Party went really well, though the prizes were kind of ghetto...lol
Apparently we raised about $300 from this year's bake sale, which is good :)
I think next on the event list would be helping with the Christmas program and maybe Eagle Point or whatever that event is called...
Then probably the dinner, which I'll see if we can move to a convenient date near Valentine's Day, for tradition's sake ;)
Tired :O *yawn*
